the Enchanted" (Avay-e Shiftegaan) CD
Parinaz displays her splendid soft and warm voice singing the spiritual poems of Rumi on the CD "Songs of the Enchanted". She was born in Iran and began singing at the age of eight with her father. She then studied at the Conservatory of Persian Classical Music where she learned the Radifs under the guidance of masters' Karimi, Lottfi, and Alipour. She also plays Tar. Kamil Alipour plays all of the instruments on this album with the exception of the zarb, and also composed and arranged all of the music. Together they take you on a spiritual journey, and carry the torch of Persian classical music for future generations to enjoy
